Irish republican party seeking to end British rule in Northern Ireland. Led by Gerry Adams. Considered to be the political arm of the IRA. Represented at both Westminster and the Irish parliament the party is the main nationalist party in the north of Ireland and elects several TDs in the Irish republic.
