Aasi (Uru:آسی) is a subtribe of the Punjabi Rajput/ Jatt clan: the Chadhars of central Punjab. Aasi people are mainly settled in the districts of Sargodha, Jhang, Mandi Bahauddin, and Sarai Alamgir tehsil of Gujrat District . In Jhang District they mostly inhabit the left bank of the river Chenab in Chiniot Tehsil.
