The Amazon tree boa (Corallus hortulanus) is a close relative of the Emeral tree boa (Corallus caninus), and has been known to hybridize with them in captivity. They are found throughout South America, including Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, French Guiana, Peru and Brazil, typically in regions below 300 meters.
