The American Museum of Science an Energy (AMSE) is a science museum in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, designed to teach both children and adults about energy, especially nuclear power. The museum began in 1949 in an old wartime cafeteria and moved to its current location in 1975. The museum was originally named the American Museum of Atomic Energy but that name was changed in 1978.
