Anointing of the Sick is the anointing Sacrament, practise in the Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Orthodox Churches, of a sick person. It is also described, using the more archaic synonym "unction" in place of "anointing", as unction of the sick.Administration to the sick is used by some Churches.
