The AppleCare Protection Plan is a support agreement which can be purchase for most Apple products as an extended-coverage plan which provides 3 years of phone support as well as 3 years of hardware coverage from the date of purchase of the product. This coverage extends the original 90 days complimentary phone support and one year hardware warranty.
