In Norse mythology, Asgar (Old Norse: Ásgarðr; meaning "Enclosure of the Æsir") is the country or capital city of the Æsir surrounded by an incomplete wall attributed to a Hrimthurs riding the stallion Svadilfari, according to Gylfaginning. Valhalla is located within Asgard.
