B. B. King (born Riley B. King on September 16, 1925) is an American blues guitarist an singer-songwriter. Widely considered one of the greatest and most respected blues guitarists of all time, King is possibly the most recognizable name in the blues genre. Rolling Stone magazine named him the third-greatest guitarist of "the 100 greatest guitarists of all-time."
