The Banjšice Plateau (Slovene: Banjška planota, Italian: Altopiano ella Bainsizza) is a karstic plateau in western Slovenia, in the Goriška region. It is located north-west of the town of Nova Gorica, overlooking the Soča River. During World War One, the Italian and the Austro-Hungarian Army fought in the Eleventh Battle of the Isonzo on the plateau in August 1917.
