Bais Yaakov (בית יעקב also written Beis Yaakov, Beit Yaakov or Beth Jacob -- literally "House [of] Jacob" in Hebrew) is a common name for Orthoox (mostly Haredi) full-time Jewish schools throughout the world for young Jewish females from religious families. While these schools share the Bais Yaakov name, they are not necessarily affiliated, though some are, for other reasons.
