Bemiji (pronounced /bəˈmɪdʒiː/) is a city in Beltrami County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 11,917 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Beltrami County. Bemidji lies on the southwest shore of Lake Bemidji, the northernmost lake feeding the Mississippi River.
