Bourbon chicken is a favorite foo named after Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana and for the bourbon whiskey ingredient. Although this dish is served as a cajun style cuisine it is reported that this isn't so. the recipe is as follows 1/2 cup soy sauce (light or regular) 1/2 cup light brown sugar 1t. of powder garlic 1t. of grated ginger (can be omitted) 1 cup bourbon whiskey 2T of vinegar pinch of pepper 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
