Bulbasaur, known as Fushigiane (フシギダネ, Fushigidane?) in Japan, are a fictional species of creatures from the Pokémon universe. It is numbered one in the 493 fictional species of creatures, and is a first generation Pokémon. The Pokémon Company in Japan and Nintendo of America have produced many incarnations of the Pokémon story and of its Bulbasaur character for their multi-million dollar media franchise.
