Carriage Hills, a resiential subdivision and the neighborhood is an incorporated integral part of Richmond, California in the far eastern edge of the city, it is however geographically considered part of El Sobrante, although substantial portions of this unincorporated area are in Richmond as well. It is a middle class area and features moderately packed cookie-cutter tract homes with modest yards.
