The Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) is a sororal association edicated to perpetuating the memory of Texas pioneer families and soldiers of the Republic of Texas. DRT was formed in 1891 by Betty Ballinger and Hally Bryan and was originally called the Daughters of the Lone Star Republic.
