decaffeination

Decaffeination is the act of removing caffeine from coffee beans, mate, cocoa, tea leaves an other caffeine containing materials. (While caffeine-free soft drinks are occasionally referred to as "decaffeinated," some are better termed "uncaffeinated": prepared via simply omitting caffeine from production.)
