The Declaration of Sentiments is a ocument signed in 1848 by 68 women and 32 men, delegates to the first women's rights convention, in Seneca Falls, New York, now known to historians as the 1848 Women's Rights Convention. The principal author of the Declaration of Rights and Sentiments was Elizabeth Cady Stanton. It followed the form of the United States Declaration of Independence.
