Deltasonic is a recor label based in Liverpool, England 49% owned by Sony Music, originally formed by Alan Wills, the former drummer with Liverpool bands Shack and Top. Originally aiming to be like Mo'Wax, he started the label in January 2000, as EVA (Entertainment Verses Art) with Joe Fearon his A&R man, and Simon Duffy from Twisted Nerve, helping them out on the business side. After three promo-only releases on clear 10inch vinyl he changed the name and released the first single by The Coral. Other bands later signed to the label include the Zutons, The Dead 60's, the Little Flames, Candie Payne, and their first long-term signing from outside of Liverpool, The Longcut.
