The evilock is a hairstyle made famous by The Misfits around 1979. The sides and back of the hair are kept short, while the front is kept long and combed forward. There are several variations; the most common version is worn with the front hair pinched into a spiked ponytail, save that the hair is usually styled in place with gel rather than with hair ties.
