Kent E. Hovin (born January 15, 1953) is an American Young Earth creationist and conspiracy theorist currently serving time in federal prison for tax-related crimes. He is most famous for creation science seminars, which aim to convince listeners to believe in biblical creation and to reject evolution, the Big Bang, and the 4.5 billion year age of the Earth. Hovind's views are criticized by the scientific community, and even some fellow Young Earth creationist (YEC) organizations like Answers In Genesis (AIG).
