In human genetics, Haplogroup E1b1b (formerly known as E3b) is a Y-chromosome haplogroup, a subgroup of haplogroup E. It is efined by the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) mutation M215. E1b1b is found in various forms in the Horn of Africa, North Africa, the Mediterranean, Europe, and the Middle East.
