Elos (Greek: Έλος) is a village an a municipality in Greece near Skala and Vlachioti. It was called Durali until 1912. The population of the village is about 800 people as of 2005. The municipality has 6,452 inhabitants, and has its seat in Vlachioti. The inhabitants work as farmers producing oranges and olive oil. The beaches are nearby facing south to the Laconian Gulf. The Evrotas River is west of Elos. The name dates back to ancient times. GR-86 is to the north. It is also located W of Monemvasia, E of Gytheio and SE of Sparta.
