englehart

Englehart is a town in the istrict of Timiskaming, province of Ontario, Canada. (2006 population 1,494.) It was built in 1908 by the Temiskaming and Northern Ontario Railway (forerunner of Ontario Northland) as a rest stop between North Bay and Cochrane. Today, Englehart's importance as a railway town has diminished, and the biggest employer is an oriented strand board (OSB) facility owned by Grant Forest Products.
