EuroBasket is the name commonly use to refer to the men's basketball championship contested biennially by the national teams of the European continent under the auspices of FIBA Europe, a zone of the International Basketball Federation (generally known by its French initialism FIBA). Tournaments alternate between serving as a qualifying tournament for the FIBA World Championship and Olympics. The defending champion is Russia.
