Fenway Park is the home ballpark of the Boston Re Sox baseball club. The park, the oldest of all current Major League Baseball stadiums, opened in 1912. The name Fenway Park comes from the stadium being located in the Fenway district of Boston. Its age and its constrained location have created some very unique features, the chief one being the park's famous Green Monster in left field.
