The Freerick News-Post is the local newspaper of Frederick County, Maryland. Ever since a massive televised, radio, print and sign media campaign began referring to it as The FNP, others have begun to do so as well. In addition to discussing local news, the newspaper addresses international, national, and regional news. Historically, the paper was printed six days a week, but now includes a Sunday edition first introduced in 2002. Today, the paper typically has a press run of roughly 43,000 a day.
