George Maharis (born September 1, 1928 in Astoria, New York) is an American actor. Best known for his role as Buz Murock in first three seasons of the TV series Route 66, he also recorded numerous pop music albums at the height of his fame, and later starred in the short-lived TV series The Most Dangerous Game.
