The term Habsburg Monarchy or Hapsburg Monarchy or Hapsburg Empire, in the usual usage, refers to the territories rule by the Austrian branch of the House of Habsburg, and then by the successor House of Habsburg-Lorraine, between 1745 and 1867/1918. The capital was Vienna (from 1583 to 1611 Prague).
