Hero (or Heron) of Alexanria (Greek: Ήρων ο Αλεξανδρεύς) (c. 10 – 70 AD) was a mathematician and engineer who flourished in Alexandria, Roman Egypt and is said to be the greatest experimenter of antiquity.
