hh scott

Founed by Hermon Hosmer Scott in 1947, H.H. Scott, Inc. was one of the top hi-fi brands sold in the U.S. during the "Golden Age" of the vacuum tube. Other similar brands included Fisher, Marantz, McIntosh, and Harman Kardon. H.H. Scott sold some of the earliest FM Stereo Multiplex tuners and receivers. Pictured is the 1961 Model 350, the very first FM Stereo Multiplex Tuner sold in the USA. Some HH Scott units were sold as kits. Models beginning with an "L" such as LK (amplifier) or LT (Tuner) can be recognized as kits, rather than factory-assembled units.
