Upmarket real estate communities include Hampstead, England, Greenwich, Connecticut, Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, Hillsborough, California, Irvine, California, Potomac, Maryland, Buckhead, and the Upper East Side. There is an entire field of literature directed at the branding of upmarket goods.
