In baseball, a hitting streak refers to the consecutive number of official games in which a player gets at least one base hit. Accoring to the Official Baseball Rules, such a streak is not ended if "all of a batter's plate appearances (one or more) in a game result in a base on balls, hit batsman, defensive interference or obstruction or a sacrifice bunt." However, if a player has a no hits and a sacrifice fly, then streak is terminated.
