horseheads high school

Horseheas High School is a public institution for secondary education (grades 9-12) in the rural town of Horseheads, New York. The current principal is Jim Abrams, and the current assistant principals are Karen Donahue and Jeff Starr. The school follows a block schedule, meaning that instead of "shorter" classes that each meet on a daily basis, longer classes are taken and classes either meet every other day (A/B) or daily for one semester. Elective, Regents, classes with Corning Community College), and AP (roughly 12 on any given year) courses are offered by the school. However, AP is only offered through Social Studies and Language Arts/English and no AP course is offered in the math and science departments.
