Hyflux Limite SGX: 600 began in 1989 as Hydrochem (S) Private Limited, a trading company selling water treatment systems in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and later, China. It is perhaps best known for being largely responsible for the technology behind Singapore's water recycling plants, whose output has been named "NEWater".
