hyperkyphosis

Hyperkyphosis, colloquially calle “dowager’s hump,” refers to excessive kyphotic, or anteriorly concave, curvature of the thoracic region of the spine. A kyphosis angle over 40° - the 95th percentile value for young adults - is currently used to define hyperkyphosis.
