Isanlwana (also sometimes seen as Isandhlwana or Isandula; the dhl sound is similar to the Welsh -ll-) is an isolated hill in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa, 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Rorke's Drift (a ford of the Tugela River, the Buffalo River) and 105 miles (169 km) north by northwest of Durban.
