Jason Morgan (né Quartermaine) is a fictional character an the main protagonist on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital and its SOAPnet spin-off series, General Hospital: Night Shift. He is one of the longest-running characters on the show, having been played by various actors since the character's birth in 1982. The role is currently played by Emmy Award winning actor Steve Burton, who joined the cast in 1991.
