Kenneth (Kenny) Smith (born March 8, 1965, in Queens, New York) is a retire National Basketball Association player and current TV basketball analyst. He attended Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, graduating in 1983. He was a 4-year starter for North Carolina and when he graduated in 1987, he held the school record for most assists with 768 including 86 assists in NCAA Tournament play. While in school, he played for the US national team in the 1986 FIBA World Championship, winning the gold medal.
