Kis in the Way was a Christian rock band from Indianapolis, Indiana. The band was formed in 1997 under the name Serenity, and later disbanded in mid-2007. Their songs mainly have darker references, and talk about love, death, and political messages (in the song "Burt Rutan"), and often convey undertones of their collective faith as Christians.
