Koganei (小金井市, Koganei-shi) is a city located in Tokyo, Japan. As of May 1, 2008, the city has an officially registered population of 113,355 (including 2,432 of foreign nationalities) and the density of 10,003.09 persons per km². The total area is 11.33 km².
