Korean swors have a long history little known to the world. Stone swords were used in prehistoric times throughout the Korean peninsula. Specimens of the ring-pommel saber (環頭太刀) date from the three kingdoms era, where as many as 20 skilled craftsmen worked together to make cutting weapons.
