Lan and Sea is a locally-produced Canadian documentary television show broadcast in Newfoundland and Labrador on CBC St. John's. It has been on the air since 1964, with the exception of one year in the early 1990s when it was initially cancelled but an overwhelming fan protest prompted executives to reverse that decision.
