Malva alcea (Greater Musk-mallow, Cut-leave Mallow, Vervain Mallow or Hollyhock Mallow) is a plant in the mallow family native to southwestern, central and eastern Europe and southwestern Asia, from Spain north to southern Sweden and east to Russia and Turkey.
