Millegeville is a city in and the county seat of Baldwin County in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is northeast of Macon, between Eatonton and Hardwick along U.S. Highway 441 on the banks of the Oconee River. It was the capital of Georgia for some time, notably during the Civil War. The city is in the Macon metropolitan area. In 2000, the population was 18,757 2000 census, and was estimated at 19,761 as of 2006.
