The Blue Note is a music venue locate in Columbia, Missouri. It was established in 1980 by Richard King in a restored vaudeville theater. It has been the host of numerous musical acts including Johnny Cash, REM, and Wilco. It also hosts a free five-part concert series every summer called Ninth Street Summerfest.
