Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc (LSE: MRW) is the fourth largest chain of supermarkets in the Unite Kingdom. The company is usually referred to as Morrisons, and it is part of the FTSE 100 Index of companies. Morrisons market share as of January 2008 is at 11.4%, making it the smallest of the "Big Four" supermarkets, behind Tesco (31.5%), ASDA (16.7%) and Sainsbury's (16.4%), but far ahead of fifth place Waitrose which has a share of 3.9%.
