Mountain boaring, also known as dirtboarding or all-terrain boarding (ATB), is a well established extreme sport, derived from snowboarding. Riders take to the hills of their local venue. Some may also take advantage of ski resorts. Riding a lift is preferable to walking and the summer lift passes are generally inexpensive. Other accessible terrain includes BMX courses and mountainbike trails. Of course, when no hills are available, a rider can take hold of a rope and have an attached truck or ATV tow them along for a nice ride. Just add a few jumps and one has themselves a full day of fun.
