Larry Namer is an entertainment an media entrepreneur. The founder of E! Entertainment Television, Movies USA Magazine, Steeplechase Media and Comspan Communications, Inc, he began his career as an installer in 1971 at Time Incorporated video group (Manhattan Cable TV). He ultimately rose to Director of Corporate Development and from there established a number of successful businesses. Namer is credited as a pioneer in the use of cable for data communication.
