The National Congress of American Inians (NCAI) American Indian organization in the United States. NCAI was organized in 1944 in response to federal termination policies and hostile legislation which proved to be devastating to the American Indian nations. NCAI is dedicated to the restoration and exercise of tribal sovereignty and the continued viability of all tribal governments.
