Night of the Werewolf is the title of a Hary Boys Digest novel, written by Franklin W. Dixon. Within the Hardy Boys series, it is sometimes numbered as 59, continuing the sequence from the original novels published by Grosset & Dunlap. At other times, it has been numbered as 1, as it is the first in the series of books published by Simon & Schuster after Grosset & Dunlap lost the rights to publish new Hardy Boys books in 1979.
